         This handbook describes the features specific to the Panache software

Detailed instructions are provided where a Windows like feature deviates from the normal Windows convention.

 This handbook is organised into the following main chapters:

  • Chapter 1 – Welcome to Panache
    This current chapter provides an overview of the documentation and a guide to what you need before you can install and implement your new software.

  • Chapter 2 – Getting Started
    This second chapter provides the basic information you need to get started including basic keyboard operation and logging in.

  • Chapter 3 – The Panache Desktop
    This chapter tells you about the features available on the desktop, for example, the menu and toolbar.

  • Chapter 4 – The Panache Application
    This chapter details all icon and menu functions on the Panache desktop.

  • Chapter 5 – Panache and Rapport
    This chapter explains how Panache and Rapport interact with each other.

  • Chapter 6 – Defining your Panache Options
    This chapter gives full details on how to set up various parameters that are required for Panache.

  • Chapter 7 – Setting Up Personnel
    The seventh chapter tells you about how to set up personnel and how they are used within Panache and RadTime.

  • Chapter 8 – Jobs
    This chapter explains how jobs can be set up and used to give a greater analysis for time posting against clients.

  • Chapter 9 – Posting Time
    This chapter explains how time can be posted within Panache via one of two methods. It also explains how RadTime interacts with Panache. Opening balances, time adjustments and planned time are also covered within this chapter.

  • Chapter 10 – Posting Disbursements
    This chapter explains how disbursements can be posted in Panache.

  • Chapter 11 – Personnel Time Reporting
    This eleventh chapter explains how you can analyse personnel and their time.

  • Chapter 12 – Non Chargeable Accounts
    This chapter shows how to produce information and reports about a selected non chargeable activity.

  • Chapter 13 – Work in Progress Control
    This chapter explains how a WIP report can be produced and other such WIP reports.

  • Chapter 14 – Billing Guides
    This chapter outlines how to run and produce billing guides for clients.

    This fifteenth chapter explains the billing process in Panache.

  • Chapter 16 – Fees Ledger
    This chapter gives details on Panache’s fees ledger. It includes cash posting, matching and unmatching cash, fees only bills and credits as well as how to produce various cash and VAT reports.

  • Chapter 17 – Period End Procedures
    This chapter details Panache’s period end and year end procedure

  • Chapter 18 – Graphs
    This eighteenth chapter shows you how to run any of Panache’s pre-defined graphs.

  • Chapter 19 – Client Reports
    This chapter shows you how to produce various client listings.

  • Chapter 20 – Producing a Time Plan
    This chapter explains how you can produce a time plan in Excel via Panache.

  • Chapter 21 – Data
    This chapter deals with the design and usage of data forms within Panache.

  • Chapter 22 – Documents
    This chapter explains how you can view Rapport’s Document Manager entries within Panache.

  • Chapter 23 – User Permissions
    This chapter outlines user permissions defined in Rapport that will affect Panache.

  • Chapter 24 – Integration with Quick Books
    This penultimate chapter explains the process of exporting data for use in the Quick Books software.

  • Chapter 25 – Calling Clients
    This final chapter explains how Panache can be used to call clients direct.
